About Your Teacher
Eric Maldonado is a young guitarist, composer, instructor & producer from Simi Valley, California. His playing has been seen and heard by some of rock music's best players such as Lincoln Brewster, Glen Drover, Andy Timmons, George Lynch, Jon Levin, Bruce Bouillet, Rusty Cooley, Kiko Loureiro and more.
Eric's debut release, which came out on Elusive Sound Entertainment Records, entitled, "Into The Moonlight", is what launched this young artist onto the instrumental shred guitar scene.
His music style and playing has also caught the eye of big companies such as Fernandes Guitars, Halo Guitars, DiMarzio Pickups, AMT Electronics USA, AWE-IN-ONE Picks, Morley Pedals, Sonuus, & Guitar Pro 6, of which Eric proudly endorses.
Eric is also the 1st place grand prize winner of world renowned Christian artist Lincoln Brewster's Guitar Contest "Show Me What You've Got" and was chosen by Lincoln himself. Eric is also the Grand Prize winner of Shred Academy's String Insanity Worldwide Shred Contest.
